Barbell Club
What: PCF Barbell Club
When: M/W 8:00pm – 9:30pm, weekend hours TBD
Where: Patriot Crossfit
Why: To allow intermediate lifters/crossfitters to focus on powerlifting or oly lifting outside normal class time
Guidelines:
1) Cost to participate in the barbell club is $10 per month.
2) Members must be on unlimited membership to participate in barbell club.
3) Contact Erika at erika@patriotcrossfit.com to request membership.
4) Members can lift according to their own template (must be approved by one of the coaches), or may contact a coach to request assistance in determining an appropriate program.
5) Each barbell club session will have a team leader overseeing and acting as the single point of contact with the WOD class coach to deconflict space/ equipment, etc. Team leaders will not be responsible for coaching, they will be lifting with the group. If members want individual coaching, they should contact a coach for private training.
Intent is to provide a dedicated space/time for lifters to focus on lifting outside of class. Lifters will be given more autonomy than in regular WOD classes, and will be expected to lift responsibly.
