We lost Tom in 2008 – parachuting accident during training in Arizone – I’d known and worked with him since the early 90’s – he was a phenomenal climber, jumper, skiier, all-around athlete, one of our best snipers, and above all a good friend, teammate, husband and father. Numerous deployments and combat experience, which made his death during training even more difficult to absorb.
But…I had to laugh when I saw the workout – all the rope climbs – he would definitely appreciate that.
Tom rests in Section 60 of Arlington National Cemetery, along with so many of our teammates.

Great kickoff by John B this morning to get us psyched to do rope climbs in memory of Tom.

John B thanks again for the talk this morning. It was a pleasure and an honor to give Tommy V a good laugh as he looked down on us today.
