My tricep will not stop twitching/spasming. I’m drinking electrolytes right now but it’s not helping fast enough and I’m really getting annoyed/distracted. Does anyone have any other ideas besides electrolytes/hydration and patience?

To Kevin PCF’s point, I’m considering an age discrimination suit against Brian for not putting me on the leaderboard after 0630 (even though it would definitely have been temporary). I think Dan needs some legal experience beyond thermostat and rower repairman so maybe he’ll take my case. If not Dan, then maybe Jackie Chiles.

Fun fact: An avocado has twice the potassium of a banana, and 1/14th the sugar.

Chesley, potassium is an electrolyte and in my tablet and a banana has far less K than these tablets.

Tim S- Good to know. Although foods higher in fat (i.e the yummy avocado) take longer to digest, therefore, delaying the nutrient absorption process.

Kassi- Yes, that it is. It’s worth a shot though given food is always better than taking a supplement. Outside of taking electrolytes, eating potassium rich foods, getting more sleep, and minimizing stress, I’m at a loss.

Snatch: 115, squat. 8 attempts, 3 fails. Bending arms too early in the pull.
METCON: 9:12 Rx. Need to work on cycling pullups; it’s crazy I can’t do them faster and more efficiently.
Some guys really blew through this one!

Ok, couple thing to say today.
1. LOTS of snatch PRs today. So proud of you guys – 0930 and 1200 were super fun for me. Shouts out to Alison, Ben W, MJ, Dan S, and anyone else I missed. Silently judging those of you that continue to skip snatch days. Good things happen when you show up and practice.
2. I’m working on the Open stuff and will post some more details soon, but for those of you that want to go ahead and sign up, DO IT. Select Patriot as your affiliate, I’ll get the team stuff set up and let you know what to do there. It is a little confusing, but for now, just register Patriot as your affiliate.
Lastly, my WOD: 120-125-130-130-got under 135 three times but shoulders were just too tired to keep it locked out to stand up. Next week.
Metcon: 8:22 Rx+ (16# wall ball). Started out working on butterfly pull ups – those fell off the cliff quickly.
